boom vang

Hi all can some one give me a good set up for a boom Vang on an investigator thanks :)
easy to take off and put on a picture would be nice too thanks .

Atles. I dont have a pic of my vang but in short it clips to the bracket that should be there on the bottom of the boom, then I have a block set up (4 to 1 I think) that then terminates with a flat D shackle on the round tube that is cast into the mast step. Someone will have a pic Im sure.

Here's my vang - I use a horseshoe type to cope with the roller-reefing.

For the bottom fitting see:

If you are using slab reefing there is a standard keyhole fitting to mount on the bottom of the boom.
