what is this sail ?

Hi all, when i got my investigator their was an old bag with some sail in it
most were to old to use.
but in the bag i think i found an asymmetrical spinnaker or could be a kite ? as it is small
Can some one tell me which
It has a wire down one side and is a triangle shape the fabric is like silk.
how does it rig up
does it need a spinnaker pole

Is the wire along the luff? If so it could be similar to a Code Zero which usually have a rope luff.
