Who or What is JOG?

Hi all:
Can anyone tell me who or what is/was the JOG - which I believe stands for Junior Offshore Group.
I also understand JOG test yachts/boats, but how do they do this, where and why, and do they publish results?
Finally, has JOG tested Investigators? If so how did we do?
Many thanks,
Geoff

JOG is a design standard for offshore racing of relatively small keelboats. Some T/s did get tested on this basis, but it can be a bit misleading as I believe the tests are done on an empty boat, and at the size of our T/S, crew weight is substantial and critical.
The Investigator 563, being a displacement boat with fixed ballast, can be used in quasi offshore situations like the bays around Melbourne and Brisbane, but it is not intended to be a full offshore cruising vessel.
