Just an article I found on the Internet Archive. You can look up the author , but he knows what he's talking about . Worth backing up anything on this site you may want for future reference . Indeed any site. The old multiply site that took the MSN version of the forum has now gone to god as i mentioned, as has my CJB investigator site.
Remember the Internet is not like a wall safe , more like a pile if papers sitting on the sill of an open window . They can just blow away.
Schneier's articles on Internet security and privacy are worth reading too. I would say USA centric but that pretty much encompasses the whole world now.
Ian did anyone come forward with the expertise you need to backup the site?
For those with ipads you can use an app called Goodreader to copy a web page . Just go to the URL and put a g in front of the http and it will copy the web page verbatim except for pictures which i download separately. Other apps will do this but I use this one.
