SE Qld Get together
SE Qld Get together
Hi Folks,
I've had a response from Gunter, Gazman, Larry and Coops, so I think we can organise something here.
Sunday 4th is looking very windy, after the front that due tomorrow.

But Tuesday looks better.
Are you up for it?
Robert

I'm good on Tuesday. It will be great to see everyone again and get to met Coop.

You may never say that again.

I'll take my chances. If it is that bad I'll just add another New Year's Resolution to my list.Cooper wrote: You may never say that again.

Re: SE Qld Get together....Tuesday look wet and windy
Tuesday: Winds: SE 20/25 knots, decreasing to 15/20 knots in the evening.
Lighter winds over the western bay early morning. Seas: 1.2 metres. Patchy rain
and isolated showers.
Wednesday: Winds: E/SE 10/15 knots, reaching 15/20 knots at times. Winds tending
SE/NE 15/20 knots in the evening. Lighter winds over the western bay early
morning.
So, judging by these forecasts, Wednesday looks the more comfortable day, however, moving the day of the get together is not always an easy task (Larry especially) and if we have crew on board, 15 to 20 knots is fine. Though it will probably be wet!
Your thoughts gents.??

Re: SE Qld Get together
Wednesday is fine with me. In fact better because Tuesday is my anniversary (but Tuesday is still ok, Helen understands that it has been a long time and I need to get back to sailing)
I mentioned in the original topic that my boat isn't available so I'm hoping to hitch a ride. If that doesn't work I'm still up for just meeting you all before and after.

Re: SE Qld Get together
Hi Larry,
No-one else has so much as whispered, so we'd better stick to Tuesday. I have messaged Garry, Cooper and yourself. I will try and track down Gunter and ring him today or this evening.
Is there any others who I should be inviting?
Cheers, Robert

Robert
I'm up for either day, sail and coffee or just straight to coffee, what ever is best. I can't think of anyone else to invite. But if there are any other SE QLD I hope they see the post and reply.
Just let me know when and where
