Launch Day

Post by Peter T »

Finally ! I thought it would take 6 months and the big launch day came today after only three and a half years of hard work.
WOO HOO.
Now, to start sorting out the rigging.

As you can see in the second photo, I needed to use my tow bar extension as well as the tilt function of the trailer, even though Ulverstone is a fairly steep boat ramp, so adding the extension is highly recommended as the car was well out of the water. Launching was an absolute breeze and retrieval almost as easy. Oh and also, I lowered the rear of the bunks around an inch and it slid off effortlessly
One happy chap, let me tell you

A great day Peter, glad the trailer went well. Allot of thought and effort has gone into it all, it's always amazing to see a boat come alive in it's true element. Cheers
