Cape Dory 25 restoration.

Post by Ozzie »

I read lots of boat restoration sites. Much like Andrew’s excellent site you like to read it to pick up ideas. The following is neither an Investigator or even a TS but it’s maybe a fun read as it’s got very good before and after pics of everything in the process and it’s a bloody good job to boot. Also I love these old boats probably because I’ll never own one. So like me you can read it on a lazy day and pretend you’ve been working

I’ll throw this into the links thread after a few weeks to be tidy. The cover page photo is unfortunate as the boat appears to have a whirlybird in the middle of the cabin roof :o which it doesn’t.

Very interesting to read and good to see the results of good craftsmanship.
