Re: Myall Lakes Cruise
Great turnout of seven boats including five Investigators.
Saturday met up at Nerong and proceeded across the Broadwater to Legges camp in 15 to 20k NE winds weather fine. Proceeded past the ferry up Two Mile lake and to Boolambyte creek for the night.
Sunday up past Violet Hill into Myall lake for some fantastic sailing in 15 to 25k NE winds arriving at Neranie sands for overnight stay.
Monday explored Neranie bay and old logging camp then overnight at Neranie beach.
Tuesday return to Nerong ramp. Luckily we avoided the storms and rain that hit Newcastle and the South coast. Lots of fun and well worth the five hour trip from Wollongong.

Great photos especially like the one of the 5 I563s together, that has to be pretty unique.

Re: Myall Lakes Cruise
Thanks for report and photos mate, this area is on my todo list. Any security problem with cars or trailers?
Any of the participants Lake Mac based? I know there are a few on the Lake but I never see them when sailing.

Hi Ozzie (and Mark)
Where were you?
No security issues at Nerong. Parking in nearby street ok .residents friendly. ramp v good with jetty.
The others were from Sydney and Maitland .
Hope to see you and Mark (although I realize distance from B.B. a problem) on the Australia day Hawkesbury sail.
Cheers
