Anti fouling

As I intend to leave the boat on the water for some time over summer - One month at Wyndam harbour - then possibly more time on a swing mooring at Blairgowie the need for anti fouling has raised its head. My boat has been previously anti fouled which has mostly come off.

While I believe that wyndham harbour can be nasty as its a new marina the time at Blairgowie is not certain at this stage If I get it the boat would be pulled out over winter). Chatting with other boat owners a few things have come up.

Maybe best in the short term to just wipe it down regularly - bring into shore - put it on the trailer and pull it up to the hard - snorkel exercise.

Long term I would probably antifoul it (but I don't really have time now before it hits the water). Does antifoul deteriorate when the boat is out of the water? What do others do?
