Come on guys, start posting!

It is great to see that we are up to 10 members already!
Hopefully none are Bollywood porn, but once I learn how to drive this forum, we will be able to ditch them swiftly.
Lets have another photo.

OK Ian, I'll start the ball rolling.

A couple of weeks ago we put the boat in at the boat ramp at the marina just North of the Bribie Island bridge for a day trip on the Pumicestone Passage. Had a great day in perfect conditions up and back to a place called Mission Point, which as a top spot to stop for lunch. Camping area, great beach with easy access, toilets etc. Going to have to overnight there one day. Lovely view of the Glasshouse mountains.

Came back later in the day to a bun fight at the boat ramp, so it was dark as we de-rigged. A gent came up to us as we were working and said he was a former Investigator owner. Lots of stories, tips and discussions later we finally got on our way. While I spoke to the fellow my wife was in deep conversation with his wife (as women do).

A day or so later my wife said that she must look for the cook book that the woman she was talking to had written. What was the name? Robbie Kirk!

I didn't realise who we had been talking to. Ian and Robbie Kirk of course.

For those not familiar, there are a couple of articles written by Robbie on the old website(s).

Anyway for those who know of Ian and Robbie they are alive and well and mucking around with wooden boats. Building them I think. Small ones.

I stayed on Bribie a few months ago, and was on the Southern side of the bridge, did not realise that there was a marina on the other side.
Went to the local RSL for dinner- so much food on the plate I could not finish. I'm no spring chicken, but around there I felt like a youngster.

Have the Kirk's cook book. I think it is called "Keep it simple sailor" and the recipes are very basic. I think you can buy it direct from the author or Boat Books.
