Matt- would be good if you posted some photos here, particularly of fitout and extras.

Re: Pip for sale

Post by Normanby »

I'm selling my beloved Investigator Pip.
I've bought a Princess 18 that suits my needs better.

The Boatsales.com.au ad is here:
http://www.boatsales.com.au/boats-for-s ... ?R=9607084
Some of the photos in the ad are 'borrowed' from another ad, but i took some more today and uploaded them.
I'm not sure how to ad pictures to a post - if someone can tell me i'll add some.

Comparing the Princess with the Investigator...
The Investigator is like a little ship; thick fibreglass, heavy and tough, with traditional looks, weighing in at about $1300kg on the trailer fully loaded with gear.
Whereas the Princess is like a large racing dinghy with ballast and a cabin. She was designed by an olympic dinghy racer and i think it shows, and she weighs in at only about 800kg on the trailer.

Anyhow Pip has been a great boat and i've spent a bit on her.
Cheers,
Matt
