Re: Interesting alteration to an Investigator

The more I look the more I see.
Is that a propeller I see resting on the ground, in the shot of the stern?
And if so, that might explain the outboard rig which appears to be detatchable!!

This is a strange boat!!

Hi Folks,

I thought this an interesting alteration. Wonder what it looks like inside?

SE Qld got together

Hi Folks, Gunter, Garry, Larry, Coops and Partner, and myself all got together today. Though it proved too breezy for a sail, we had a great chat and Garry provided the coffee and tea and Larry the snacks. It was good to discuss matters and we all agreed that we should organise another, and perhaps ...

Re: SE Qld Get together

Tuesday it is. Even if its windy, there are lots of good coffee shops within walking distance, so we can leave the boats and cars at the car park at the southern end of the Manly Harbour. See you all there at 2pm. call me on 0401 811 625 if any problems. Hey, Coops, did you get a look at 'Sherlock'?...

Re: SE Qld Get together

Hi Larry,

No-one else has so much as whispered, so we'd better stick to Tuesday. I have messaged Garry, Cooper and yourself. I will try and track down Gunter and ring him today or this evening.

Is there any others who I should be inviting?

Cheers, Robert

SE Qld Get together

Hi Folks, I've had a response from Gunter, Gazman, Larry and Coops, so I think we can organise something here. Sunday 4th is looking very windy, after the front that due tomorrow. http://www.seabreeze.com.au/graphs/qld_synoptic.asp?loc=BRIS&stateid=3 But Tuesday looks better. Are you up for it? ...

Re: Investigator for sail in trading post

Well Coops, you've seen it and as I recall you were critical of the finish of the two pack paint on the hull. Is that correct? Just looking at the picks, it appears to be better than Palamida was when I picked her up, covered with barnacle scars, rot in the gunwale and the rudder needing some love. ...
