Re: Pop-top problem
Gidday All , The idea of securing the front end to the mast sounds good . Does anyone actually sail with the top raised ? I did not realise that the top actually had any hold down bolts , all the pics I have seen do not show any . This forum certainly helps when one is stumped for a solution ! Best ...

Bob ,
Much appreciate quick response . Do you have to release stay ends each time the lid is dropped ?

Pop-top problem
Gidday all . I continue to rebuild my Investigator using photos to help with assembly . I have a problem with the pop-top at the front end – no photo ! The four rear stays are all ok . I noted that it was 3 feet long , 11 inches wide and just over 10mm thick . Two disks of plastic faced the pivot hole either side . The...

Re: Time for a new trailer
Hi Folks, Trailer woes again. There we were holding up all the boats at the ramp, when the tilt limiter chail broke. I should have then launched the boat again and created an improvised limiter, but no.....I plowed on, pulling the boat up a rather steeper incline than normal and we were almost home...

Re: two investigators in Trading post
I must own up to having bought the cheap Investigator . Its sail number is 90 and although it needs lots of work it is basically all there . The trailer however needs total replacement of the rear end . Hopefully I can post some pics at a later date .
