My mates a fire fighter and he has said the amount of jobs he’s been to has gone way up due to lithium batteries. He advised me not to leave my electric scooter on charge over night.

I bung a thin spray of cooking oil on the tank after use Luke. Helps stop the chrome from re-oxidising and I’ve already got the can out of the box to cook with . Suppose WD would work too. I keep it in a box but mines only a single. Got a few salt pitting marks on the tank. Think it’s chrome plated...

After firing it up and using it a few times in the backyard I’m totally into the metho fuel cooking. Kids enjoyed noodles along the way.

Just a simple clean with some elbow grease got it looking a lot better. Was thinking of polishing it etc but pretty happy with just a clean.

So the keel boat I recently got had a maxie 2 burner metho stove. Previous owner has never used since “2008” when he acquired the boat. After spending Saturday night aboard I unbolted it from the gimble and took it home to give it a good going over. After freeing the hand valves and the fuel cap man...
