thanks - mine doesn't look like that one - mine has two (well, one now, as one broke off) lugs atop of the plug into which the pin goes to hold the tack of the sail to the boom.

If I could figure out how to load a picture, I'd do so.

Thanks - the guys in Tasmania are making one for me. I might also give the extended aluminium bracket a go as a backup.

Well, I tried those guys - no luck - any other suggestions. I could buy a few sheets of ply and cut out the shape and glue it all together I guess
