INVESTIGATOR 563

This will be my winter project. 2520 total length so do in one piece will need to go down to 2490. Plan to blackout the hull that is under the window to make it look cleaner

Just saw on fb that keeley marine are finished. They set the mast fittings that the investigator use.

Someone is selling their inventory, if you have some spare coin it’s worth trying to pickup what you or others may need in the future.

I’ve been wanting to fit a compas to my boat and was wading through all that is available. I think the Silva looks the goods.


How does the illumination kit work? Is that installed to the inside of the outside. Couldn’t see it in the manual.

Is it just me or does the mast look oversized?

Potentially some form of Cunningham?

I was thinking of using the clear vhb, under a dark grey Perspex. My windows are over 2m long(single piece covering multiple windows).

I’m trying my hardest to find a previous topic on window replacement. Someone even made templates and a silhouette edge to hide the trim.
